I'm a student engineer building AI, robotics, and software that solves real-world problems. I care about systems that are fast, accessible, and actually useful.

My Journey

How I went from breaking things to building them.

I was the kid who took apart every remote and circuit board I could find, never putting them back together properly. Now I actually know how to put things back together. Sometimes better than they were before.

I started coding at 8 with Python tutorials and spent weeks crashing programs I thought were bulletproof. I built my first robot for VEX IQ and watched it lose spectacularly in the first competition (burned out a motor on the drive train). But I came back, redesigned the drivetrain, and eventually qualified for state. Twice.

These days I'm building AI assistants, robotics systems, and software platforms that actually solve problems I run into day-to-day. I'm a Stardance Ambassador and mentor other students, mostly because I remember how frustrating it was to Google "why won't my code compile" at midnight. I also spent way too long debugging a servo calibration issue that turned out to be a single misplaced decimal point.

Right now I'm obsessed with making the Atlas AI assistant smarter and figuring out how to integrate it with real robotics hardware—which is harder than it sounds.

CT Lieutenant Governor's Computing Challenge

Finalist. Top 10 out of 1,000+ statewide. Built something unusual enough that the judges asked how I thought of it.

2024-25

Stardance Ambassador

Mentor at one of the world's largest student maker networks. Helping others debug their projects because I remember how frustrating it was to be stuck.

Stardance Certificate of Recognition

Officially recognized by a program supported by NASA, AMD, Microsoft, GitHub, and Hack Club for creativity and technical innovation.

VEX IQ State Championship Qualifier

Qualified for the State Championship twice — building robot design, autonomous routines, and lift systems under competition pressure.

School Robotics Team — 3 Consecutive Years

Selected for my school's robotics team every year I tried out (3/3), demonstrating consistent technical ability, teamwork, and dedication.

Recruited by Multiple FTC Teams

Multiple FIRST Tech Challenge teams invited me to join based on robotics experience, CAD skills, and engineering project work.

My Story

A timeline of how I grew from a curious beginner into a state-qualifying robotics engineer and AI builder.

2016
I built my first ever hardware project, a simple circuit with a motor and a battery.
2020
Began focusing seriously on robotics. I started learning how hardware, sensors, and logic come together to make a machine autonomous.
2025
Qualified for the VEX IQ State Championship. That season taught me iterative design, and how to write reliable autonomous routines.
2026
Qualified for the VEX IQ State Championship again and began pursuing robotics and AI much more intensively — combining code, competition, and creative problem solving.
